The Admissions Policy details the process for applying for a school place and the criteria that the school must apply in the instance of over-subscription.
Should a school place be refused due to a year group being full to its capacity, an applying parent will be informed in writing, following their enquiries. In this letter, details will be given of the school’s appeal procedure.

When can I apply for a Year 7 school place?
The application window opens in September of Year 5, and application packs are given to parents via primary schools. Parents are also welcome to ask us directly for an application form.
When is the closing date for Year 7 applications?
The date is in November, and is slightly different every year. For September 2016 Year 7 admission, the date is November 20th 2015.
When will I find out if my application is successful or not?
In accordance with Welsh Government regulations, schools inform parents of the outcome of their application on March 1st of the child’s Year 6 year.
What happens if I want to move my child during Year 7-11?
